Change keyboard layout for other languages

Other regions use different keyboards to accommodate for other languages. To change a users keyboard to match this style (which may make it easier to type in said language), Go to Control Panel and select "Regional and Language Options". Click on the details button, then in the new window click "add" to choose from a drop down list of different language keyboards to add. Having more than on keyboard active turns on the language bar in the task bar.

To use east Asian language languages:

In the Languages tab , from the "Regional and Languages Options window" there is a box that says "Install files for East Asian languages". Check it and follow the instructions for installation (you may have to restart the computer). For student machines, you may need the install disc for their flavor of windows (unless the user did a complete install).

After the installation is complete, go back to the Languages tab and click the Details button. Click the Add button in the Installed services section. East Asian languages including Chinese (PRC), Japanese and Korean should now appear in the dropdown menu drop-down menu as options under under input language.
