To manage appointment slots, Google calendar creates a "overlay calendar" which "lays on top" of your Kox Google calendar.  The ovelay calendar will be used for ALL of you calendar events for which you use the appointment feature.  It even has it's own URL.

Creating Appointment Slots

1. Open Google Calendar
2. Go to the date on  which you wish to create the appointment slots.
3. Click and drag over the time period for which you wish to create the appointment slots.
4. In the box that open, click Appointment Slots:

5.  In the updated window:
   1. Give a name to the appointment slot - e.g. Advising, Help Session.
   2. Set the time length for the appointment slots by selecting from the drop down list.
   3. Click More options

6. On the More options screen:
   1. You can change the duration of the slots
   2. See the calendar of appointment slots

7. The appointment slots are now ready for use.

Give access to your appointment slots

To give access to your appointment slot calendar, you need to do the following:

1. Create an email to the ended audience
2. Include the link you copied in Step 6 above.

End-User Scheduling of your appointment slots

1. The end user opens the email you sent to them.
2. The end-user clicks on the link in the email.
3. The end-user the clicks on the desired appointment slot.
4. The end-user confirms the appointment by clicking Save to a Booking Appointment confirmation window.
5. The end-user is then automatically scheduled for that slot.
6. The appointment will also appear on their personal Knox Google calendar.

Viewing Scheduled Appointments

1. Scheduled appointment slots automatically appear in your list of appointment slots.
2. You will also receive an email notifying you of the scheduling of an appointment slot.
