Importing audio files into editing
1. Importing File
a. open up file
--> Click on File b. select import
--> Scroll down to Import c. then select file
--> Go to the location in which you have stored said audio 2. Selecting the file
--> Often is either in your downloads or in your music librarya. go into music
b. select song/clip or loop
c. open file
--> Select file then press open
Exporting audio files (including how to export different types of audio files)
--> Click on File1. Exporting
a. open File tab
--> Scroll down to b. select Export
--> Select Export as File
--> Type in the name you wish the file to have (should be the name that it is already saved as)
--> Type in the location of where you would like the file exported
--> Select the type of file c. select Multi-Track Mixdown
d. then select Entire Session
2. Options for Exporting
a. type the title in the area name Filename
b. either type or browse to your desired export destination
c. select the file type you would like to export (most commonly select usually .mp3 or .wav)
--> Then press ok d. then press ok
How to move clips from Waveform to Multitrack
- Moving File
a. drag from box in upper left hand corner where the file is being stored
b. drag to whatever track you would like the sound to be on
