Installation
You can get the CD from the Library. It can only be checked out for 24 hours.
Make sure users get Office 2007 for PC, Office 2008 for Mac.
You can also install Office 2007 from SharedApps by clicking KnoxOfficeInstall.cmd.
It is recommended you copy the folder desktop before running the script. Office 365 is the current version of Microsoft Office. Some Knox owned machines have this already installed but others may be using the prior version, Microsoft Office 2019 Professional Plus for Windows or Microsoft Office 2019 for Mac. There may also be older versions of Microsoft Office installed around campus.
Current students, faculty and staff can follow these installation instructions, making sure to follow the work or school pathway in this article, to install Microsoft Office 365. Once installed, simply open one of the Microsoft Apps, log in with your knox.edu account and the Apps should activate for use. If a previous version of Microsoft Office is installed on the computer you are trying to install Office 365 on, you may need to uninstall the old version first.
