To manage appointment slots, Google calendar creates a "overlay calendar" which "lays on top" of your Kox Google calendar. The ovelay calendar will be used for ALL of you calendar events for which you use the appointment feature. It even has it's own URL.

Creating Appointment Slots

- Open Google Calendar
- Go to the date on which you wish to create the appointment slots.
- Click and drag over the time period for which you wish to create the appointment slots.
- In the box that open, click Appointment Slots:
- In the updated window:
- Give a name to the appointment slot - e.g. Advising, Help Session.
- Set the time length for the appointment slots by selecting from the drop down list.
- Click Edit detailsMore options
- On the Edit details More options screen:
- Right click on the blue link for your calendar's appointment page.
- Click Copy - This action copies the address of the calendar so that you may past the address into an email to those for which you wish to offer appointments.
- Click Save
You can change the duration of the slots - See the calendar of appointment slots
The appointment slots are now ready for use.
Give access to your appointment slots slots
To give access to your appointment slot calendar, you need to do the following:

End-User Scheduling of your appointment slots
- The end user opens your the email you sent to them.
- The end-user clicks on the link in the email.
- The end-user the clicks on the desired appointment slot.
- The end-user confirms the appointment by clicking Save to a Booking Appointment confirmation window.
- The end-user is then automatically scheduled for that slot.
- The appointment will also appear on their personal Knox Google calendar.
