To print on a Chromebook, you will need to download an application from the Chrome web store called Mobility Print.

Download Mobility Print

Step 1: Log into your Chromebook using your Knox College profile

Step 2: Open the Chrome Web Store - this can be done in your browser

  • Do not use the Google Play Store. It to be added from the Chrome Web Store

Step 3: Search for Mobility Print. The search bar is in the top left corner of the page. Mobility Print may be several results down.

Step 4: Click Add to Chrome.

Step 5: A confirmation window will pop-up, click Add app. If prompted, trust any certificates.

Step 6: Open the document you need to print. This is most easily done in Google Docs on Chromebooks.

Step 7: Click Print, the print menu will open. Change the destination setting to See more… to open more printing options.

Step 8: If you are in range of a printer enabled with Mobility Print, it will appear on the menu. You will only be able to select from printers that have the Mobility Print logo to the right of them. Choose your preferred printer.

Step 9: Now that your destination has been updated, click Print

Step 10: The Mobility Print sign-in window will open. Use your Knox email without the @knox.edu and your password. Once logged into the Mobility Print, you may not have to complete this step again.

Step 11: Click Jobs Pending Release section on the left side of you screen.

Step 12: If you wish to print multiple jobs, click Release All, otherwise click Print to release a single print job.

Step 13: Your print job is now printing on the selected printer. Visit the printer to collect your documents.

Cancel a Print Job

To cancel your print job, visit https://printers.knox.edu:9192/user

  1. Enter your Knox Username and Password, then click Login.

  2. Click Jobs Pending Release section on the left side of you screen.

  3. If you wish to print multiple jobs, click Cancel All, otherwise click Cancel to void a single print job.
