The notifications in Chrome is having an issue where inappropriate notifications are being issued:

  • Malware

  • Your PC is infected, etc

The Fix (Made on 02/14/22)

Implimented by our Systems Staff

“In order to help stop these issues, we are going to disable via group policy adding additional Chrome notifications. We have added all of the Google notifications like mail, meet, calendar... and all notifications that have already been enabled will remain. But no one will be allowed to add new notifications to the browser. If someone needs additional notifications we will need to add them via group policy.”
