Caterpillar Classroom - SMC - E011Located in the lowest level of SMC's E-Wing, the Caterpillar Lab contains 20 "thin clients" running a Windows virtual desktop interface on 23 inch screens. The instructor station is a Dell 760 with a full standard software suite installed. Instructors can turn off all student monitors with one power switch. This electronic teaching classroom is equipped with projection. The layout and power of these machines makes this classroom ideal for the integration of high-end applications and/or programming into instruction. | |

Dorothy Johnson '39 and Richard Burkhardt '39 Language CenterThe Dorothy Johnson '39 and Richard Burkhardt '39 Language Center is located on the first floor of George Davis Hall (GDH). The center contains one instructor station and 24 3.2 GHz Quad i5, 27" Core iMac workstations with 8 GB RAM. The scanner by the instructor station can assist students in copying film and documents in high resolution. This electronic teaching classroom is equipped with a projector and large screen. Additional power and standardization make this teaching space ideal for a variety of instructional purposes. There are two Work Group rooms available for faculty or students to work on individual and group multimedia projects. Both rooms have supplementary audiovisual devices and iMac workstations, one with Rosetta Stone. A viewing room equipped with state-of-the-art multimedia equipment facilitates additional requirements of modern language learning techniques as part of the Burkhardt Language Learning Center. | |

Stellyes Classroom - SMC E-016Located in the basement of SMC's E-Wing, Stellyes contains 24 3.0 GHz PC workstations with 23 inch screens. An instructor station is available for data projection. Instructors can turn of all monitors with a power switch by the desk. | |

Founders LabLocated in Seymour Union across from the Student Life office, the Founders Lab is open 24 hours, 7 days a week. The Lab is equipped with 17 stations running virtual desktops with 23" monitors, and 8 2.4 GHz iMacs with 8 GB RAM. The lab also includes 2 high end iMacs and 2 high end PCs for video editing, a large screen for group work, white boards, headphones with microphones and 5 surface tablets for checkout to be used in the lab. | |
