To print on a Chromebook, you will need to download an application from the Chrome web store called Mobility Print.

Download Mobility Print

Step 1: Log into your Chromebook using your Knox College profile

Step 2: Open the Chrome Web Store - this can be done in your browser

  • Do not use the Google Play Store. It to be added from the Chrome Web Store

Step 3: Search for Mobility Print. The search bar is in the top left corner of the page. Mobility Print may be several results down.

Step 4: Click Add to Chrome. A confirmation window will pop-up, click Add app. If prompted, trust any certificates.

After Mobility Print is added to your Chromebook, you are ready to print!


Using Mobility Print

Step 1: Open the document you need to print. This is most easily done in Google Docs on Chromebooks

Step 2: Click Print, the print menu will open. Change the destination setting to See more… to open more printing options

Step 3: If you are in range of a printer enabled with Mobility Print, it will appear on the menu. You will only be able to select from printers that have the Mobility Print logo to the right of them. Choose your preferred printer.

Step 4: Now that your destination has been updated, click Print

Step 5: The Mobility Print sign in window will open. Use your Knox credentials and click Sign in and print

  • Enter your Knox Username without the @knox.edu

Step 6: Your document will be sent to the appropriate print release station.

Step 7: Release your print job from one of the Print release stations on campus. Ideally, the one next to your you sent your print job so that you can quickly retrieve it.
