Familiarize yourself with the equipment in the room

The Lectern Equipment

 Power Supply

Insert directions on how to turn on/off the power supply and state that it is to be left turned on.

If a generic power strip is used, delete this section of the table.

 Main PC

When the PC is on, the light illuminates WHITE, if you find the PC turned off, press the power button once. 

Do not shut down the main pc.

When finished, log off of the main pc.

If you think the PC is unresponsive, press and hold the power button for a few seconds to force a shut down, wait a few seconds, and then press the power button once to turn it on.

Video Switcher

Insert instructions on how to turn on/off switcher if there is a power switch on the front and how to select the correct input like this:

  • The video switcher helps select between multiple incoming video sources.

  • For projection make sure the power is turned on for the switcher. The green switch located on the left should have the “I” pressed in for it to be turned on. If the “O” is pressed in, the video switcher is turned off.

  • Identify the correct input number for your device connection and select it.

Amplifier

Red highlighted button: This button can power on or power off the amplifier.

Green highlighted button: It is the master volume knob and can control audio output from all sources.

Input Knobs: Use the only knob you need, in this case it is “Input 1”, and turn down all other input knobs.

Bass knob: Leave in middle.

Treble knob: Leave in middle.

Module knob: Leave in middle.
