The Samson Portable Speaker has two audio connections; a Wireless Mic and a bluetooth connect for devices such as PC/ Phones to play audio.

How to use the Speaker Kit:

The Kit comes with:

  1. Samson Speaker

  2. Samson Wireless Microphone

  3. Speaker Charger/Power Supply

  4. USB Receiver

  5. 3.55 mm AUX Cable

  1. Turn the speaker on by switching on the power switch on the back of the speaker.

2. If the speaker doesn’t light up, it probably needs charging. Connect the Power Supply to the power port on the back of the Speaker.

For Wireless Microphone Connection:

For Bluetooth Audio Connection:

1. To connect the Wireless microphone plug in the receiver to the port labeled 3 on the back of the speaker.

  1. To pair the speaker, hold down the bluetooth button on the top of the speaker for about 1 second. It should start flashing blue.

2. Hold the “pair' button on the receiver until it lights up. Make sure to turn up the volume nob next to the port.

2. On your device, turn on Bluetooth and go to available devices (or something similar). The speaker should appear as “Samson XP 106”. The blue light will flash faster briefly and then stay on, indicating it has paired. You should now be able to play audio from your device out of the speaker.

3. Turn the microphone on by pressing the power button until it lights up. The mic should connect to the speaker.

3. The volume of the Bluetooth device can be adjusted under Input #4.

Optional: If you need another microphone

If you need another microphone in addition to the one included with the system, you can also check out a wireless microphone kit and use it with the Samson speaker. It comes with:

  • Receiver

  • Microphone

  • Power Cable

  • XLR Cable

  1. Plug in wireless microphone receiver into a power outlet with the included power cable, and place on top of the Samson speaker.

2. Use the included XLR cable (the cable with 3 pins/3 pin connector) to connect the back of the wireless receiver to Input #1 on the back of the Samson speaker.

The cable should be rotated until all three pins line up with the holes.

3. You can now turn on the microphone and receiver.

  • Press the power button on the front of the receiver.

  • Press and hold the power button on the microphone.

    • If it does not turn on, you may need new AA batteries.

      • To replace batteries, unscrew the lower half of the microphone and replace the batteries.

4. You may need to turn up the volume knob on Input #1 if you can’t hear the microphone.
