To use any equipment in the space, the Power bar must be turned on.

  • On is indicated by the red light illuminated on the power button.

  • If you find it turned off, turn on the power bar by flipping the switch up.

  • If the receiver screen is blank, it means its turned off.

    • They should turn on automatically with the power bar

  • If the receiver is off, press the power buttons, highlighted red in the picture to turn the receiver on.

  • (Note: Do not change any other settings on the receiver.)

  • Turn on: Press the power button at the center of the microphone and the LED will turn green.

    • The microphone in this picture is on

  • Turn off: Press the power button again and the microphone and the LED will turn off.

  • Volume: Change the volume level of a microphone through the Amplifier located in the AV Cabinet

  • Batteries: Unscrew the lower half of the microphone below the button to reveal the batteries

    • You can press in the center to remove the batteries.

  • If audio is required, make sure the amplifier is turned on, indicated by a blue light above the power button.

  • If the amplifier is turned off, push the power buttonto turn it on.

Red outlined button: This button can power on or power off the amplifier. Turn it on for any audio needs.

Greenoutlined button: It is the master volume knob and can control all audio output from all sources.

  • The wall plate for video and audio inputs is on the right corner of the stage.

  • Necessary cables to connect a device can be found in the AV Cabinet Drawer. (Note: If someone took it or left it plugged into the ports, it won’t be in the drawer.)

  • HDMI input is #6 on the switcher. This connection will send video and audio.

  • VGA input is #7 on the switcher. VGA only transmits video. (Note: You will also need the 3.5mm audio cable connected to your device in order to project with sound.)

Note: Refer to the switcher guide above to make the Active selection for the correct connection.

  • Turn on/off by pressing the power button on the DVD remote.

  • Choose input #8 on the switcher to project.

  • Continue using the DVD player as usual.

Note: Turn the projector off before turning off the DVD player. The projector will display a black screen if you turn off the DVD player first, making it easier to forget to turn off the projector.
