Familiarize yourself with the room

Mac Mini

  • If you find the Mac Mini turned off, press the power button once.

  • When the Mac Mini is on, the light illuminates WHITE, as shown above.

Do not shut down the Mac Mini.

Mac Mini Password

To continue past the password screen, simply press ‘Enter’ on the keyboard. There is no password.

USB Plug-in

On the back of the Mac Mini you will see an Anker USB hub. Utilize this for any slide advancers, USB sticks, or other equipment you need to plug in to the computer.

Troubleshooting the computer

If you think the PC is unresponsive, press and hold the power button for a few seconds to force a shut down, wait a few seconds, and then press the power button once to turn it on.

Room Audio

Make all audio adjustments on the main PC first.

Note: Each Mac has different icons to find volume button. Here is an example:

  • Click on the icon (outlined in red)

  • Drag the slider on the bar left to turn down and right to turn up the volume (outlined in green).

  • The computer volume is muted if you see the speaker icon with an cross on it (outlined in red).

    • To unmute the computer, click the speaker icon.

Note: Maximize the computer volume before proceeding to the next step.

Speakers

You can adjust the audio volume from the speakers in the room by turning the speaker volume knob.

Projector

Point the remote at the front of the projector.

Turning on the projector: Press “On” once (outlined in red).

Turning off the projector: Press “Off” twice (outlined in green).

Projector Screen

The projector screen is manual and there is a string at the bottom center.

To raise the screen, pull the screen by the string out away from the wall a couple of feet, pull down, and release, allowing the screen to retract.

To lower the screen, pull down on the string and let go when the computer image is displayed on screen.
