With the Xerox 5335 model there is a banner page that prints out every time a job is printed to that printer unless you disable that option in the printer settings. Printers on campus that experience this issue are: gdh2-x and seylib2-x. These instructions are for Mac computers.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Open the file that you want to print and click on the print icon.
  2. Select the printer of choice and change the settings in the print dialogue box to match the ones below.
    1. Copies & Pages → Xerox Features
    2. Select Advanced from the second drop down menu.
    3. In Job Identification, select Disable Job ID
  3. Then, in Presets, select the option titled Save Current Settings as Preset..
  4. Finally, name the preset something that you will be able to easily identify. EX: No-Banner-Page or NoBanner. Save this option for only this printer.
  5. Click OK and adjust any other settings for your print job and then click Print.
