Android Phones may attempt to re-register multiple times to the Fortinac systemunder your registered device seats. Students are only allowed 5 registered device seats before needing to remove a device or add another device seat in their registration. This is due to a security setting that allows for the phone to generate a different MAC address every time the phone connects to a wireless network.

When viewed in the Fortinac system, the user’s registration listing will have multiple instances for the Android phone if they connect with the randomized MAC address option turned on. Typically, the latest attempt at connecting will be on the Registration (10.165.xxx.xxx) network.
