Get Connected To Knox Network⭐
Knox College utilizes a Network Access Control system called FortiNAC. The FortiNAC system limits users with a knox.edu email address by default to five devices that can be registered to the Knox networks. If you need to add a new device and your account is already at five registered devices, you can choose to remove a currently registered device or you can request an additional seat for the sixth device. To request a device registration removal, or additional device seat, visit the Help Desk page and look for the links under the Services section. There is no limit to the number of devices that you are allowed to connect, as long as they are all registered. How you register a device to a Knox network depends if the device has a web browser installed or not. If you are able to install a browser on a device, it is suggested that you do so to complete the registration process. Devices that DO NOT have a web browser should be connected to KnoxTronics and devices that DO have a web browser should be connected to Knox-Wireless. Once the device is connected to Knox-Wireless, you will need to visit knoxaccess.knox.edu and complete the registration process. If your device does not have a web browser, you will need to visit the Device Registration page to register the device. If you have connected a device to “Knox Guest Access”, you will need to forget the network before the device will be able properly register to Knox-Wireless or KnoxTronics.
