About:

End Users may wish to setup notifications as to when a reservation is made or changed on this calendar.

How to automatically receive notifications of calendar events 

(SMC-ITS Conference Room is being used in this example)

  1. Open your Google Calendar App.
  2. Locate the desired calendar under My Calendars.
  3. Click the down arrow just to the right of the the calendar name.



     
  4. Click "Edit notifications".



     
  5. Check all of the boxes on this page for email notifications.  



     
  6. Choose SMS (text messaging) if you so desire.  
    1. If you not have completed the Mobile Setup:
      1. Click the Mobile Setup link.



      2. Confirm / Enter the following data:
        1. Confirm United States for the Country.
        2. Enter your cell phone number.
        3. Click Send Verification Code.



      3. Once you receive the verification code on your phone:
        1. Enter the verification code in the slot provided.
        2. Click Finish Setup.



      4. You will be returned to the Edit Notifications tab of your PERSONAL calendar.
