End Users may wish to setup notifications as to when a reservation is made or changed on this calendar.
How to automatically receive notifications of calendar events
(SMC-ITS Conference Room is being used in this example)
- Open your Google Calendar App.
- Locate the desired calendar under My Calendars.
- Click the down arrow just to the right of the the calendar name.
- Click "Edit notifications".
- Check all of the boxes on this page for email notifications.
- Choose SMS (text messaging) if you so desire.
- If you not have completed the Mobile Setup:
- Click the Mobile Setup link.
- Confirm / Enter the following data:
- Confirm United States for the Country.
- Enter your cell phone number.
- Click Send Verification Code.
- Once you receive the verification code on your phone:
- Enter the verification code in the slot provided.
- Click Finish Setup.
- You will be returned to the Edit Notifications tab of your PERSONAL calendar.
- Click the Mobile Setup link.
