Macintosh Computers - Accessing Your Redirected Folders / Home Account
About
Redirected Folders
When you log on to a College-owned Windows computer, the files are actually stored on one of the College's servers - not the computer you are using. To access these files from Macs, you will need to follow the directions in the next section.
Redirected folders automatically created for you include:
A Windows-based desktop folder
A Windows-based My Documents folder
Home Account
"Home Account" is another name for the location of the files stored on our servers. Specifically, this location refers to the folder on College servers where your desktop and My Document folders are located. You may add or remove additional folders as you see fit.
