Power Supply
The power supply must be turned on to produce any audio in Harbach theater.
Patch Panels
Harbach is outfitted with with patch panels. These patch panels connect microphones/receivers/headsets/speakers on stage to the mixer in the audio/lighting booth.
To utilize a patch panel, connect a device listed above to either the stage left / stage right / upstage panel.
To connect a microphone/receiver, use ports:
SL1 / SL2 / SL3 / SL4 / SL5 / SL6
SR1 / SR2 / SR3 / SR4 / SR5 / SR6
US1 / US2 / US3 / US4
To connect a headset, use ports:
ICOM A / B
To connect a speaker, use ports:
SLA / SLB
SRA / SRB
US1 / US2 / US3 / US4
In the audio booth, connect from the patch panel to the mixer.
Use a XLR cable from the patch panel port you selected on stage: SL / SR / US
Connect the other end of the XLR cable to the appropriate port on the mixer or ICOM system.
If you are using a microphone/receiver on stage, you would connect these to an input on the mixer.
If you are using a headset, you would connect this to one of the ICOM boxes found around the booth.
If you are using a speaker on stage, you would connect this to an output on the mixer.
Note: It is helpful to use white tape to label the input/output faders on the mixer so you know which microphone/speaker is which.
Try to use an order that makes sense.
If you connect from SL1 / SL2 / SL3, use inputs 1/2/3 on the mixer in the same order.
