How to view recent files in Win 10

Viewing of Recently Used files under Windows 10 is different from Windows 7 and Windows 8.


How

  1. Locate the File Explorer icon on your taskbar at the bottom of the screen.


  2. Double click on File Explorer icon to open File Explorer.

  3. When File Explorer opens, you should see a list of the most recently used files on the lower half of the screen.


  4. You may need to toggle arrow next to Recent Files to the down position in order to see the files.
