Connect iPhone, iPad, iOS Device to Knox-Wireless
Important: If you have attempted to connect to Wi-Fi by way of the Knox Guest Access network, these steps will not work.
Make sure to forget the Knox Guest Access network prior to connecting to Knox-Wireless.
Connect an iPhone, iPad, iOS Device to Knox-Wireless
Go to Home screen
Tap Settings
Tap Wi-Fi Settings
Tap: Knox-Wireless
You will be prompted for your Knox username and password.
Username: Your Knox Email Username (Without the @knox.edu)
Password: Your Knox Email Password
Tap “Join”
The Certificate screen will appear now.
It will say “Not Trusted” in red lettering.
Select ‘Trust’ in the upper right corner
Knox-Wireless will say “No Internet Connection”.
Tap “Knox-Wireless”
Scroll down until you see “Private Wi-Fi Address”
If it is green, turn it off so that it appears gray.
A pop-up may appear that says “Turning off private address will temporarily interrupt your Wi-Fi connection. Network activity will be temporarily interrupted.”
Tap “Continue”. Back on the Knox-Wireless page, “Private Wi-Fi Address” should now be gray.
Be sure to Register your device next.
