Joining Two Zoom Meetings Simultaneously
For the first meeting, you can join the Zoom call whichever way you prefer (desktop client, web client or Google Calendar link). For the second meeting, you have to join using the "Join with Browser" option in your web browser.
There are two ways to get to this option: Going to Zoom.us in your browser or clicking the Google Calendar link for your meeting. Instructions for both ways are below.
NOTE: You cannot use the same audio or video device for both meetings simultaneously. You will need an alternative camera and microphone for the second meeting you join.
Enabling the Simultaneous Meetings feature
Joining Meeting via Google Calendar Link
Click on your meeting link on Google Calendar
Click "Launch Meeting". An option will come up to Open Zoom Meetings - Click CANCEL
You should see a blue link that says "Join from Your Browser" - select this option.
If you do not see this option, repeat step #2.
Joining Meeting via Zoom.us
Visit Zoom.us in your browser
Sign in using the Google option
Go to My Account in the top right corner
Navigate to the Meetings tab on the left side
Click Start
Click "Launch Meeting". An option will come up to Open Zoom Meetings - Click CANCEL
You should see a blue link that says "Join from Your Browser" - select this option.
If you do not see this option, repeat step #6.
