Connect iPhone, iPad, iOS Device to Knox-Wireless

Important: If you have attempted to connect to Wi-Fi by way of the Knox Guest Access network, these steps will not work.

Make sure to forget the Knox Guest Access network prior to connecting to Knox-Wireless.

Connect an iPhone, iPad, iOS Device to Knox-Wireless

  1. Go to Home screen

  2. Tap Settings

  3. Tap Wi-Fi Settings

  4. Tap: Knox-Wireless

  1. You will be prompted for your Knox username and password.

    1. Username: Your Knox Email Username (Without the @knox.edu)

    2. Password: Your Knox Email Password

    3. Tap ā€œJoinā€

  1. The Certificate screen will appear now.

    1. It will say ā€œNot Trustedā€ in red lettering.

    2. Select ā€˜Trustā€™ in the upper right corner

  1. Knox-Wireless will say ā€œNo Internet Connectionā€.

    1. Tap the blue ā€œiā€ icon next to ā€œKnox-Wirelessā€

    2. Scroll down until you see ā€œPrivate Wi-Fi Addressā€

      1. If it is green, turn it off so that it appears gray.

      2. A pop-up may appear that says ā€œTurning off private address will temporarily interrupt your Wi-Fi connection. Network activity will be temporarily interrupted.ā€

      3. Tap ā€œContinueā€. Back on the Knox-Wireless page, ā€œPrivate Wi-Fi Addressā€ should now be gray.

  2. Be sure to Register your device next.

Note: All users must register their device.
