Gmail Toolbar Change - How to View Hidden Apps

It seems like Google once again changed their mail toolbar to be hidden. Now, if you mouse over the "punnet-square-looking" image next to your username in the right-hand corner of your screen, you will be able to see your apps easily (mail, drive, calendar, groups..etc.). Here is a photo of how it looks:
