ArcGIS 10.X License Installation

Background

For ArcGIS, the College has purchased a "Lab Pack" .

  1. 31 licenses are available through the Lab Pack.
  2. The licenses are for concurrent use.
  3. Machines must  have an Knox network connection to access the licenses.
  4. Licenses may "checked" out for field use.

Licensing ArcGIS 10.X if the ArcGIS Administrator Wizard was not run during the installation process.

  1. Install ArcGIS Desktop as instructed here.

  2. Launch the ArcGIS Administrator program:
    1. Click Start
    2. Click All Programs
    3. Click ArcGIS
    4. Click ArcGIS Administrator

  3.  Once the program is open, click on Desktop:




  4. In the following screens:
    1. Click Advanced (ArcInfo) Concurrent Use
    2. Click Change
    3. Click Browse
    4. Scroll Down and click on LICENSE
    5. Click OK
    6. Click Apply



       
  5. Close the ArcGIS Administrator application.
