Network Error Accessing a Remote Database
Bad Server.Pem file
If unable to access a remote database due to a network error, consider replacing the server.pem file with a server.pem from another working computer on which filemaker is working properly
The file is located: C:\Program Files\FileMaker\FileMaker Pro 11 or C:\Program Files\FileMaker(X86)\FileMaker Pro 11. May also be found in the Filemaker 8.5 folder.
Printing
Problem: End user experienced issues printing from Filemaker 11. Output was inconsistent and or error message kept popping up about paper size.
Solution: Run Filemaker in compatibility mode. To do so:
- Create a Filemaker shortcut on the desktop
- Right click on the icon and select properties. The properties window will appear. Click on the compatibility tab.
- Now click on the options noted below:
- Printing issues should now be cleared up.
