G: Drive Missing, G: Drive Question Mark Error

If you have a blue question mark above their G drive, or if your G drive is missing entirely, try these steps

  • Try to open Google Drive again. This can be done by searching “Google Drive” in the lower left corner and opening the program. Usually this works.

 

  1. If you get a message saying that Google Drive File Stream is already running, try seeing if you are signed in

    1. This can be done by expanding the apps in the lower right corner (the up arrow next to date and time), then seeing if the Google Drive icon is grayed out. Click the icon, this should open the sign in window.
